AN Erskine football team are playing in style after receiving support from a property management firm.
Ross and Liddell donated funding to Mar Thistle Football Club from its third Community Bursary Scheme.
The team, whose players are aged eight and nine and are from the local area, have purchased new strips and balls with the money.
Brenda MacKenzie, parent and volunteer, said: "We would like to thank Ross and Liddell for its generosity.
"The Club allows the children to participate in regular training and games, while also encouraging fitness and football related skills.
"The new stripes have made such a difference, the boys love wearing them and they really feel part of the team.”
The team train twice a week at Park Mains High School and play at the weekend at various venues across Renfrewshire and Inverclyde.
Ross and Liddell specialises in property management and maintenance, as well as providing a comprehensive range of residential and commercial services, including sales, lettings, surveying and insurance.
